BIO:

Mokujin is a training dummy made from a 2,000-year-old oak tree. Mokujin was kept in a museum for a long time, but when the God of Fighting (Ogre) awoke, it gained self-identity and started to act on its own. Sensing evil's presence, Mokujin once again sets out to save the world. Some people say it is motivated by the desire to help martial artists. Mokujin has no fighting style of his own. Instead, he uses the fighting style of another character that is competing in the current tournament and uses it.

A metal version of Mokujin named Tetsujin debuted as a secret character in Tekken Tag Tournament. A golden Mokujin known as Kinjin appeared in Tekken Revolution. In Street Fighter X Tekken,
Pac-Man fights his opponents by controlling a "mech" Mokujin.

Since his debut in Tekken 3, Mokujin has been capturing hearts of fighting game fans around the world. Something about him just makes you want to give him a hug... but that's probably not the best idea (especially when his eyes are glowing red). lol.

Mokujin was the first "random fighting style user" of fighting games. Yup, he's even older than that fossil known as Edge Master. Mokujin's the perfect character to pick if you're an expert at Tekken or if you simply have no idea who to pick. Combot took Mokujin's place in Tekken 4, and while Combot was cool, I was really happy to see Mokujin return in Tekken 5 & 6. He has quite a lot of personality for an oak tree. He's a Tekken classic... and has always offered great comic relief in Tekken. Finally, I'm glad Namco hasn't "changed" Mokujin's basic appearance since his debut in 1997. Further proof that great designs really don't need to change visually.
