BIO:

The ancient legend of vampires lives once again in the form of Slayer, a highly respected nobleman who enjoys living in his secluded castle amidst a deep darkness. Slayer is actually of a race called "Nightwalkers", immortal beings that walk the earth and seldomly age their bodies. It is unknown for how much time Slayer has been roaming the mortal plain, but he has seen countless events unfold in front of his eyes, including the Holy War that pitted humans against Gears. Slayer is actually the original founder of the Assassins' Guild (currently run by Zato-1), said to be created hundreds of years ago. His original ambition was to use the Guild and its' members to punish those who used their power to abuse innocent people, but somewhere along the way the message was corrupted, now reducing the Guild to a mere band of criminals. Slayer stepped away from the ranks of the Guild, and now watches how humanity recovers itself from the Holy War from the sidelines. Slayer is a literate man who is very polite and knows much wise lore. He is usually very confident and is very perceptive as well. He lives with a mysterious woman called Sharon, who doesn't speak much, but is also said to be an immortal just like Slayer. Slayer is also friends with Gabriel, current president of Zepp. Even though his powers of darkness are fearsome, he appears to not be using his full potential....

Slayer enjoys Haiku and having admirable fights without bloodshed, Slayer had a free going personality as a leader and would let anyone do as they felt like. However, he let his guild have too much freedom, and it went into the wrong direction as an assassination squad. Having no interest but feeling responsibility to what led the guild to what it is now, Slayer returned to fix the guild which began to crumble from the loss of Zato-1. Slayer's name is based on the 80's thrash metal band of the same name.

There aren't many vampires or gentleman in the fighting game universe. Slayer most definitely isn't a "cliché" vampire, and is also quite the gentlemen. He's classy and cool, as a vampire should be, and his extremely cocky and laid-back personality clearly shows through in his fighting style. He's got some hilarious mannerisms and animations... his "KO" animation is easily one of the best of all time. To quote Kendale Thompson's post on TFG's Facebook: "Slayer never loses. He simply chooses not to win." XD

Slayer's attire suits his personality perfectly, but I think his moveset could've been a little more developed overall. Still, he's definitely a welcomed edition to the already unique and innovative Guilty Gear roster and easily one of my personal favorite characters from the series. So much charisma!
